PDF If you would prefer to register by mail or fax, download and make a hard copy of the registration form (Mail to AMIA 4720 Montgomery Lane, Suite 500 Bethesda, MD 20814 or fax to (301) 657-1296).

AMIA is pleased to make available a special offer to institutions that routinely send large groups of attendees to the Summits. This offer applies to the registration for the TBI Summit, the CRI Summit, or both. For every ten registrations from a single institution one complimentary registration will be issued by AMIA. A query of the attendee roster from the 2011 Joint Summits demonstrates there are several institutions that qualify, so we encourage informatics training programs and institutions to organize their group. Contact Dasha Cohen at dasha at amia.org for more information.

Author Rates

Author rates apply to primary authors of all 2012 Joint Summits (either or both TBI and CRI) accepted papers, posters, and all panel participants. Author rates do not apply to tutorial presenters or secondary authors.

Student Rates

Student Rates are for full-time students. They do not apply to part-time students. All students MUST present proof of student status including both a photocopy of a current, valid student ID plus a letter from the university/college registrar’s office verifying current full-time enrollment in a degree or post-doctoral program at the time of the 2012 Summit on Translational Bioinformatics.

ISCB Member Rates

Special Pricing for International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB) Members

ISCB Member AMIA and ISCB have partnered to make special rates available for ISCB members. ISCB members receive a 10% discount off the regular, non-member registration fees for TBI, CRI, or both. ISCB members should visit the ISCB website to obtain the promotional code. AMIA will validate ISCB member registrants and if dues are found not current an invoice will be issued to cover the balance between the ISCB and non-member registrant fee.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of a conference registration does not constitute cancellation of a hotel room. Please be sure to handle both separately. Cancellation and refund requests must be received by AMIA in writing (e-mail your request dasha@amia.org or fax it to 301-657-1296). By February 10, 2012: Full refund minus $50 processing fee. Between February 11 and March 8, 2012: 50% refund. After March 8: No refunds will be issued. However, registrations can be transferred to another member of your organization.

Transfer of Paid Registrations Policy

Registrants who are unable to attend the meeting may transfer their registration to another person. Transfer of registration must be in writing and received by the AMIA office by March 8, 2012 or presented on-site. If a member registration is transferred to a non-member, that person will have to pay the difference between the member and the non-member rates.

Online registration is for credit card payment only. If you would like to pay by check, purchase order, or wire transfer, send or fax the print registration form to the AMIA office.
