Full registration fees for members, non-members, and speakers cover all events except for tutorials, designated affiliate events, and selected special events.
To add a pre-conference workshop to an existing registration please follow these steps:
- Login to AMIA Central
- Click on My Events under “Membership/Activities” on the right side
- Click on iHealth 2016 Clinical Informatics Conference
- Click on +Add Tutorials/Special Events
- Select the event and add it to the shopping cart
Member rates apply to anyone who has a full AMIA membership for 2016 ($350 dues). They do not apply to the trial membership and the affiliate membership.
Cancellation of a conference registration does not constitute cancellation of a hotel room. Please be sure to handle both separately. Cancellation and refund requests must be received by AMIA in writing (e-mail your request firstname.lastname@example.org or fax it to 301-657-1296. By March 11, 2016: Full refund minus $50 processing fee. Between March 11, 2016 and April 15, 2016: 50% refund. After April 15: No refunds will be issued. However, registrations can be transferred to another member of your organization.
Transfer of Paid Registrations Policy
Registrants who are unable to attend the meeting may transfer their registration to another person. Transfer of registration must be in writing and received by the AMIA office by April 15, 2016 or presented on-site. If a member registration is transferred to a non-member, that person will have to pay the difference between the member and the non-member rates.
Online registration is for credit card payment only. If you would like to pay by check, purchase order, or wire transfer, send or fax the print registration form to the AMIA office.

AMIA invites media representatives to cover iHealth 2016 Clinical Informatics Conference, May 5-6, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Media registration allows credentialed journalists to cover the conference with a complimentary registration and access to the keynote presentations and sessions. Credentialed journalists qualify as representatives of traditional and online media which may including established bloggers and freelancers who are journalists in their primary professional role.
Your application and examples of your submitted clips will be reviewed. Once approved, you will receive a registration confirmation. Registration badges will be issued to journalists on site. When on site be prepared to present your business card from the media outlet you represent.
If you are a clinician attending iHealth 2016, writing for a personal blog or creating an unsolicited, volunteer submission for a publication without and editorial assignment from the publication, does not qualify for complimentary media registration.
