Health Informatics Graduate Program at University of Kansas Medical Center

The Center for Health Informatics offers a 40 credit MS. The curriculum is divided into 3 cores: informatics, leadership, and a selected discipline (public health, health policy and management, and clinical informatics). While some courses are still face-to-face, many are online. A strength of the program is the close relationship between the student and faculty adviser. The student and adviser will develop a plan of study that meets the career goals of the student. The program concludes with a capstone project and a practicum, which combines research with hands-on experience and provides an opportunity for students to take advantage of the resources at numerous clinical and business partners.
