The program’s curriculum focuses on clinical informatics, especially Health Information Technology (HIT) project management, while staying on top of current trends in the field such as consumer health informatics and telemedicine. The program is skill-based and offered both online and on-site, enabling working professionals to obtain the degree without career disruption. Courses leading to Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, CPHIMSS, and NextGen certifications are available, as well as a competitive paid student internship in NSU’s clinics. The Biomedical Informatics Program offers a Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics (M.S.B.I.), Graduate Certificates in Medical Informatics and Public Health Informatics, and an M.S.N. in Nursing Informatics.
