Full registration fees for members, non-members, and students cover all events except for designated affiliate events and selected special events.
The specific time and date of all sessions, speaker names, and abstracts will be available in the Itinerary Planner at a later date.

If you have already registered for the AMIA 2018 Annual Symposium, but at a later date would like to add any of the Pre-symposium Workshops or any other additional events, please follow these instructions.

- Select the event and add it to the shopping cart
Member rates apply to anyone who has a full AMIA membership for 2018. They do not apply to the affiliate membership.
Author rates apply to primary authors of all AMIA 2018 accepted papers, posters, podium abstracts, and system demonstrations, and all panel and workshop presenters. Author rates do not apply to secondary authors.
Student Rates are for full-time students. They do not apply to part-time students. All students MUST present proof of student status including both a photocopy of a current, valid student ID plus a letter from the university/college registrar’s office verifying current full-time enrollment in a degree or post-doctoral program at the time of the AMIA 2018 Annual Symposium.
Cancellation of a conference registration does not constitute cancellation of a hotel room. Please be sure to handle both separately. Cancellation and refund requests must be received by AMIA in writing (e-mail your request Dasha Cohen, AMIA Director of Meetings at firstname.lastname@example.org or fax it to 301-657-1296). By September 13, 2018: Full refund minus $50 processing fee. Between September 14 and October 18, 2018: 50% refund. After October 18: No refunds will be issued. However, registrations can be transferred to another member of your organization.
Transfer of Paid Registrations Policy
Registrants who are unable to attend the meeting may transfer their registration to another person. Transfer of registration must be in writing and received by the AMIA office by October 25, 2018 or presented on-site.
Online registration is for credit card payments only. If you would like to pay by check, purchase order, or wire transfer (please include additional $25 for the wire transfer bank fees), send or fax the print registration form to the AMIA office.
Consent to Use Photographic Images
Registration and participation in AMIA meetings and activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to AMIA's use and distribution of the registrant or attendee's images or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audio record such events and activities.
