AMIA invites media representatives to cover the AMIA 2018 Informatics Summit, March 12-15, San Francisco.
Media registration allows credentialed journalists to cover the conference with a complimentary registration and access to the keynote presentations and sessions. Invite only events and events with requiring RSVP for meals are not included without prior approval. Credentialed journalists qualify as representatives of traditional and online media which may including established bloggers and freelancers who are journalists in their primary professional role.
Your application and examples of your submitted clips will be reviewed. Once approved, you will receive a registration confirmation. Registration badges will be issued to journalists on site. When on site be prepared to present your business card from the media outlet you represent.
If you are a professional attending the AMIA 2018 Informatics Summit and writing for a personal blog or creating an unsolicited, volunteer submission for a publication without and editorial assignment from the publication, does not qualify for complimentary media registration.
Submit a Media Registration Form. Registered journalists will receive confirmation e-mail with QR code ID for check-in when your request is approved. Pick up badge at registration. (Hotel accommodations are not included.)
