Biography and photograph when elected: 

Dr. Chute is an internist, epidemiologist and health informaticist with a career emphasis on medical concept representation.  He is active in health information technology standards, in particular vocabularies, ontologies, and data element models.  He founded and chaired the Division of Biomedical Informatics at Mayo Clinic, and is now the Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Health Informatics, Professor of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, and Chief Research Information Officer at Johns Hopkins.
