Electronic Health Record Accessibility Module Challenge

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology at the US Department of Health and Human Services has unveiled a contest looking for idea on how to improve access to electronic health record system data for consumers with disabilities. The office is challenging multidisciplinary teams to create and test a module or application that makes it easy for disabled consumers to access and interact with the health data stored in their electronic health records, and will award $60,000, $20,000, and $5,000 to the first- through third-place winners, respectively.
