Air
The Philadelphia International Airport is serviced by all major airlines. AMIA has negotiated discounted fares with US Airways. The airport is approximately eight miles from the Wyndham.

Shuttle
Lady Liberty is an independent shuttle providing service to the Wyndham. The cost is $8.00 per person. The shuttle will pick up outside of the baggage claim area on the quarter-to and quarter-after hours. The courtesy phones are located in the baggage area. Just dial 43 to connect to Lady Liberty (215-222-8888).

Train
Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station is a major stop on Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor line. At the station, you can connect with Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) commuter trains to two downtown stations—Suburban Station at 16th Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard (near major hotels), and Market East Station at 10th and Market Streets (near the historic district and Market East shopping complex). "Travelers should avoid the North Philadelphia Station, which is in a deteriorated neighborhood." (Fodor’s)

Taxi
Cabs cost about $2.00 for the flag throw and then between $1.80 and $2.30 per mile. They are plentiful during the day downtown, especially on Broad Street and at the hotels. At night and outside the Center City, taxis are scare. You can call for a cab, but they frequently show up late or never arrive. Be persistent—calling back if the cab is late will often yield results.

    United Cab 215-238-9500
    Yellow Cab 215-922-8400
Trolley
Philadelphia Trolley Works offers tours with professional guides to bring old and new Philadelphia to life. The tour takes approximately 90 minutes and allows unlimited on-and-off privileges with your "All Day Pass." Visit shops, museums, and historic sites at your leisure. In addition, your trolley ticket includes a free transfer onto a 40-minute excursion through beautiful Fairmount Park.
