Phoenix Biomedical Campus Tour & Reception

The Biomedical Informatics (BMI) Department at Arizona State University (ASU) and the University of Arizona College of Medicine (COM) -Phoenix in partnership with ASU are offering a grand tour of the Phoenix Biomedical Campus and reception on May 28, 3:30-5:30 pm. BMI Chair, Bob Greenes, Vice Chair, Vimla Patel, and Dean of COM, Ted Shortliffe, will provide an exclusive tour of the campus which will include a visit inside the new $29.6 million Arizona Biomedical Collaborative building 1 (ABC1).

A charter bus will pick up a group interested in participating in the tour and reception at the Arizona Grand Hotel at 3:00pm and will return at 6:00pm for a cost of $25, to cover transportation. People are more than welcome to stay in town to have dinner at the nearby Arizona Center, where there are several nice and moderately priced restaurants with pleasant surrounding (at attendee's own expense and travel arrangements for returning).

Advance reservation and payment required by May 8 so that bus arrangements can be made.
