Meeting Tracks
AMIA and its members are known for thought leadership and the stimulation of new ideas that are developed by the informatics community. The 2008 AMIA Spring Congress will be designed to showcase the best of biomedical and health research and education by focusing on four specific topical tracks. Each track will have a series of sessions with invited and submitted content to be presented at the Congress. Please consider a panel, presentation proposal, and/or poster submission in one or more of the following four tracks:
Public Health Informatics (PHI)
The technologies, policies, research, and social structures required to create a stronger public health informatics infrastructure.
Clinical Research Informatics (CRI)
The opportunities and challenges associated with accelerating the field of clinical research informatics.
Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
The development of effective electronic health records and the evaluation of their impact on care delivery.
Personal Health Records (PHRs)
