AMIA has reserved space in the Doubletree Hotel Philadelphia for the AMIA Spring Congress. This hotel is located in the heart of Philadelphia on the Avenue of the Arts, across the street from the new Kimmel center, The Regional Performing Arts Center, the Academy of Music and Meriam Theater. Many exclusive shops, art museums and historical sites like Independence Hall are all right near the hotel.
The room rate for this meeting is $139 Single/Double*

Driving directions from airport to hotel:
The hotel is located 9 miles from Philadelphia International Airport. Take I-95 North to Broad Street. Turn left and go about 3 miles. The hotel is on the right at the corner of Broad and Locust.
The Doubletree does have airport shuttle service available 6:00 am - 6:30 am daily.

DRIVING
Directions from the Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC area:
From Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC and other points South of I-95 - Take I-95 North past the Philadelphia International Airport following the signs to the Broad Street Exit. Take Broad Street North and follow Broad Street for about 3 miles. The hotel is on the corner of Broad and Locust.
Driving Directions from New York, New Jersey and points East (via I-95S):
Take I-95 South to Vine Street Expressway West (I-676). Exit at Broad Street. Take LEFT on 15th street. Follow 15th Street to Locust Street (approximately 7 blocks) and go LEFT onto Locust. The hotel is on the right at the corner of Broad and Locust.
From Harrisburg, PA and locations West of Philadelphia:
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East to exit 24 (Valley Forge). Get onto 76 E following signs to Central Philadelphia. Take Vine Street (I-676) to Broad Street. Exit and make a right onto 15th Street. Follow 15th Street to Locust and make a left onto Locust. Go 1 block to Broad Street and the hotel is on the corner.
