An Invitation to AMIA2001

This November, AMIA will hold a very special Annual Symposium. Starting as the Symposium on Computer Applications in Medical Care in 1977, this year will mark the twenty-fifth consecutive Annual Symposium. It remains the world’s premier conference on health informatics research, development, and application.

The AMIA Annual Symposium affords exhibitors the opportunity to put their products and services on display to a wide-ranging audience of influential health information technology experts, decision-makers, and users. As revealed in the demographics of meetings, the Symposium attracts a rich blend of technology decision-makers who are physicians, nurses, administrators, and computer scientists. The AMIA Annual Symposium has drawn at least 2,000 attendees all seven times it has met in Washington during the 1990s, and we expect attendance to be over that mark this year as well.

We invite you to exhibit at the 2001 AMIA Annual Symposium to be held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC, November 3 – 7, a site which has been host to the Symposium in many of the last twenty-five years.
