Learning Objectives

The learning objectives of the AMIA CMIO Boot Camp are:

• To recognize the years of biomedical and health informatics evidence and best practices that are central to fulfilling the optimization of EHRs within health care organizations.
• To improve the knowledge and skills in biomedical and health informatics and its application to current challenges in using EHRs in the health system.

Accreditation Statement

The American Medical Informatics Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation Statement

The American Medical Informatics Association designates this educational activity for a maximum of 20.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

As a sponsor accredited by the ACCME, the American Medical Informatics Association requires that everyone who is in a position to control the content of an educational activity disclose all relevant financial relationships with any commercial interest prior to the educational activity.
