AMIA working groups serve as a mechanism for members to become involved in a specific area of focus in informatics. Membership in a working group avails an individual to assist with projects including:

Programs for the AMIA Annual Symposia
Separate conferences or meetings devoted to the specific workings of the Working Group
Position statements

Members are able to engage in networking activities including:
