Benefits of Membership
There are several national organizations dedicated to various aspects of evaluation. The information and expertise related to evaluation in informatics are multidisciplinary and overlap with many of the interests of existing Working Groups of AMIA. Members belong to interact and share information in all these areas.
Other Benefits
AMIA Working Groups serve as an important mechanism for members to share expertise and information, to mentor members within a particular area of biomedical and health informatics, and to develop a personal network of peers with like interests. The exchange is facilitated primarily by online discussion of topics.
