USDA Distance Learning & Telemedicine Program
A program of the U.S. Department of Agriculture that includes grants to institutions for telemedicine projects to promote health care among rural populations.

U.S. Department of Commerce NTIA TOP Grants
Administered by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, these annual competitive TOP (Technology Opportunities Program) grants are to facilitate adoption of digital technologies in underserved areas in the U.S., both rural and urban. Several healthcare-related projects are usually funded each year.

National Institute of Standards & Technology - Advanced Technology Program
The Advanced Technology Program (ATP) of NIST strives to bridge the gap between research and the market place by stimulating partnerships with the private sector through early stage investment.
