The Health Informatics Program in the Department of Health Services Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) offers a Health Informatics Distance Learning Course through the AMIA 10x10 Program.

Director

Dr. Eta S. Berner, Professor and Director of the Center for Health Informatics for Patient Safety/Quality in the Department of Health Services Administration in the School of Health Professions at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), will serve as the Director of the UAB 10x10 offering.

Dr. Berner has been at UAB since 1986, and has served in her current position since 1997, conducting research and teaching in the Masters Program in Health Informatics. She is internationally recognized for her contributions to the field and is a Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics.
