Informatics has moved past being merely a subject of research and theory. Informatics now plays a pivotal role in all aspects of healthcare research, discovery, delivery, payment and outcomes measurement. AMIA has grown as well, building on its foundation in scholarly research and policy to include a robust community of industry leaders driving informatics innovation and implementation.
AMIA Corporate Membership
AMIA plays a unique and powerful role in healthcare, academia, and product development. As the locus for thought-leadership and the primary convener of some of the most important and relevant meetings in the industry, AMIA’s partners have terrific opportunity to engage directly with established and emerging leaders in Informatics. Through the Industry Advisory Council (IAC) AMIA corporate partners can serve as counsel and as an influential feedback channel for board-initiated collaborations and investigations.
AMIA brings together the world’s finest strategic thinkers in healthcare and bioinformatics to collaborate on solutions to the next important issues in healthcare. Full-year and multi-year thematic partnerships have taken many forms and tackled such public policy and global informatics issues as Biomedical and Health Informatics Workforce Capacity, Pharmacovigilance, and Clinical Decision Support. The recommendations made and positions taken by AMIA and its partners are authoritative and unvarnished.
Please consider bringing your proposal to AMIA and its leadership. AMIA will:
- provide feedback on project topics, themes, and timing
- help architect, engineer, and build a study
