American College of Medical Informatics Leadership

The first President of the College was Marsden S. Blois (1984-86). Morris F. Collen (1986-88), Homer R. Warner (1988-90), G. Octo Barnett (1990-92), Edward H. Shortliffe (1992-94), W. Ed Hammond (1994-96), Robert A. Greenes (1996-98), William W. Stead (1998-2000), Charles P. Friedman (2000-02), and Randolph A. Miller (2002-04) have followed him in this role. Paul D. Clayton was elected to serve as President for the 2005-2006 term but stepped aside for personal reasons. Judy G. Ozbolt assumed the office of President in early 2005 and served until December 31, 2006.

American College of Medical Informatics Committees
The Executive Committee is responsible for providing general supervision of the affairs of The College. The President of The College appoints committees with the approval of the Executive Committee. College bylaws stipulate there will be a standing Elections and Nominations Committee. The President may establish such other committees, standing or special, as The College or the Executive determine necessary to carry forward the work of The College. Current standing committees include the Awards Committee and Scientific Affairs Committee. All College committees and rosters are listed below.
