Report pulls information directly from the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) into a report that includes patients’ vital signs, lab work, history, allergies, etc. to facilitate handoff communication for nurses’ shift-to-shift or if patient transferred to another facility.
o Served as lead analyst for Care Alerts, a Clinical Decision Support System application to manage patient care and safety. Extensive learning curve brought about total organizational change in the way nurses worked at CRH. This change will become part of documentation included in the healthcare reform legislation.
