The Division of Corporate Services has an immediate opening for a Project Manager, IT. Responsible for carrying out tasks in accordance with all strategic initiatives and objectives to fulfill the mission and vision of UHealth and the University of Miami as required. Responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close.) Assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of projects. In addition, takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, stake-holders, and vendors. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree and three years in a healthcare environment required. Project Management Certification and/or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred. Experience in managing projects from scope development, change control, understanding milestones and all aspects of project creation, implementation through completion is required. Ability to perform data analytics through data re-engineering, manipulation and organization in order to evaluate, prepare and report information to senior leaders, stakeholders and other internal and external customers.

 

Robust capabilities with Microsoft applications - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and MS Project, Excel for data analysis, data manipulation, graphs, budgets, and tables MS Visio for flowcharts, timelines, project support documents, organizational charts, MS Project for project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, MS PowerPoint for presentations and MS Word for document management. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
