Healthcare Data Analyst / Machine Learning Programmer

 Key Functions:

• Implement from the ground up or port complex machine learning, statistical, and data-mining pipelines.
• Setup and run computational analyses with high-dimensional biomedical data.
• Develop and modify moderately complex software and demonstrations.
• Thoroughly document all software and analyses.
• Ensure the integrity and security of confidential data, code, and analyses.
• Provide technical assistance to clients.

  Key Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science/Machine Learning, Biomedical Informatics or related technical discipline.
• Experience with biomedical data.
• Experience with key machine learning and statistical methods.
• Strong programming skills in Matlab, Octave, or R.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ or Java.
• Programming skills in Perl/Python is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to produce deliverables reliably under deadlines.
• Availability to start full-time in May or early Summer of 2013.
