AMIA 2011 Media Registration

AMIA invites journalists, writers, bloggers, and media/outreach/public affairs officers from nonprofit health-related agencies and organizations to register to attend and cover the 35th Annual Symposium on Biomedical and Health Informatics, Oct. 22-26, 2011, at the Washington Hilton, in Washington, DC. Your media registration allows you to cover the Symposium with a complimentary registration and gain access to the keynote presentations, Scientific Sessions, and Exhibition Hall. Entry name badges will be issued onsite to pre-registered journalists and media/outreach/public affairs officers.

To qualify for a complimentary media registration onsite, (including bloggers, freelancers, news analysts) be prepared to present one of the following items:

1. Published article you have authored within the past year on health information technology, health, computer science, HIT industry or a related informatics topic.
2. Your business card from the media outlet or health-related nonprofit organization you represent.
3. An assignment on letterhead from your editor/producer.
