Gilad J. Kuperman, MD, PhD, FACMI

New York Presbyterian Hospital
Dr. Kuperman (Gil) is the Director for Interoperability Informatics at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. His role there is to help the hospital realize the benefits of interoperability internally, with its business partners and through participating in regional data interchange efforts. In this capacity, Dr. Kuperman serves as the informatics lead on (i) a Hospital project to improve the care of depressed diabetics through workflow redesign, interoperable EHRs and data feedback, (ii) a Medicaid Health Home project, an initiative to create a care network to care for chronically ill patients more effectively, (iii) involvement in Healthix, the regional health information organization (RHIO) that serves Manhattan and other parts of NY City, and (iv) the hospital's Care Coordination Steering Committee. Dr. Kuperman also helps lead the Hospital’s Information Systems Clinical Advisory Group.
