Kirk T. Phillips

Kirk T. Phillips is the Research Manager with ACO Health Informatics of the Iowa Health System, responsible for improving patient care through the design and implementation of research for population health, quality and outcomes. He has been a member of AMIA since 2001, a member of their Scientific Program Committee (2012), reviewer of scientific papers, and past-chairman of the Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining Work Group. Kirk is a reviewer for the Journal of Biomedical Informatics, Journal of Applied Clinical Informatics, and was Co-Chair of Intelligent Data Analysis in Medicine and Pharmacology (IDAMAP 2010). He is teaching coursework in Public Health Informatics at the University of Iowa’s Department of Epidemiology, College of Public Health.
