Dean F. Sittig, PhD, FACMI, FHIMSS’s knowledge and experience center on the design, development, implementation, use, and evaluation of health information technology. He is particularly interested in 1) ensuring the safe and effective use of technology in the clinical setting; 2) uses of advanced clinical decision support interventions to improve the quality, safety and reduce the costs of healthcare; and 3) designing and developing the clinical knowledge required to create these advanced clinical decision support interventions.
