Lois DeBakey is Professor of Scientific Communication at Baylor College of Medicine. She was a member of the Board of Regents of the National Library of Medicine from 1982-1986. Dr. DeBakey’s primary informatics interests are to enhance the precision. Gmplicity. and clarity of the terminology, documentation, and prose used in the field.
